Day 5-Blue Nails

Morning Ladies :D
Alright, so today is blue nails, & as most of you should
know by now, blue is my favourite color for nails, I think
it just looks so good! but.. ugh, this mani was a complete
nightmare for me! I used Finger Paints Cerulean Seascape,
because I have a craving for the new Finger Paints special
effect flakies, so I thought to give the other FPs I own
some love, so their feelings dont get hurt! & Orlys Stone
Cold, which is an amazing blue glitter. So I wanted to practice
stamping more so I tried, yeah I ruined my nails 4 times, then I
was just at the point where I was just so frustrated because I had
this vision & it just wasnt coming out how I wanted so I just wanted
it to be done, so I put in on, & photographed it & went
on with my day, so as you will see my fingers are all sparkly,
which im okay with ahaha, but I am not fully satisfied with the
messyness. But none the less, this is what I have for you.
If you ladies have any tips for stamping let me know,
maybe its patience, which I have none of. I guess
im just dooooomedd to never be good at stamping.
Well here you go ladies hope you still enjoy!
I do think the snowflakes are pretty cute.

Day 4-Green Nails

Morning Ladies

Today is day 4 of the 31 day challenge! Green nails.
Doing this challange has showed me that I tend to hoard
more of certain colors, & green definately isnt one of them.
I have a few decent ones, but I perfer turquoise to green.
For todays post I used OPIs Jade is the new black!
This is probably one of my most used green polishes,
out of the few that I do own,  because it is one of the
colors of our football team, & since I tend to do my nails
this color when I go to games. Because its appropriate,
& I wouldnt be a proper nail polish lover-addict, if I didnt
do my nails to match every single event that I go to ahaha,
you ladies understand! Anyways so yes, OPIs jade is the
new black with Zoyas Ivanka on the corners & the accent
finger different of course, because I adore accent nails.
I LOVE Zoya polish, & once upon a time I ordered
4 Zoya polishes from a website that shipped Zoya to Canada
& guess what, I dont remember what that website was for
the LIFE of me, I keep searching but come up blank. Which
depresses me, because I need more Zoyas, one day maybe
I will get lucky & find Zoya in Canada, but until that day
my life wont be fully fulfilled ahaha, those are the words
of a true addict. ANYWAYSSSSSSSSSSSS
MAN I get so side tracked sowwyy :)

Day 3-Yellow Nails

Hey Ladies!!!
So today is day 3 of the 31 day challenge. Yellow nails!
If you follow me on twitter @polishandiamonds you will
know that ive been on the search for the perfect yellow
polish, I have opis need sunglasses & when I recieved
it, it was a nasty goooooopy mess. So I tried to thin it
about 5 times, & im pretty sure there is just NO hope
for it, its one of those dud polishes. Well I went to
walmart the other day & came across Sally Hansen
Lightening, from the insta dry collection. & I though
hey why not give it a try, suprisingly I was pretty
impressed, its a bit streaky with that weird thick
texture, but after about 4 or 5 coats I was satisfied.

For now it will have to be the best yellow
I have in my rapidly growing collection.
Ive heard Butter Londons cheeky chops
is a nice yellow, ill have to try to get my hands on it.

Day 2-Orange Nails

Oh Hey Ladies!
Today is day 2 of the 31 day challenge.
I got lots of positive feedback from you ladies for my Day 1
& it made me extreemly happy. I blog to share my passion
of nailpolish with all of you, & to connect with you ladies
just makes it all worth while :D I didnt do anything special
with day 2, I just kept it simple, because I dont have many
orange polishes. Orange nails is just something
that I have never really been super drawn to, rather
than at halloween or maybe for my toes. but surprisingly
I was pretty impressed with how much I liked this polish.
I used Sally Hansen hard as nails xtreme wear, longest brand
name ever, in the color sun kissed. Its pretty loud, check it out!

Well there is my Day 2 of the 31 day Challenge.
What are your thought on orange nails??

glitter throwup.

Hi Beauties!
You have been seeing alot of me today I know!
but I am making up for not being here for so long :D
I wanted to show you ladies what I did for my NYE nails
I know its a nasty post title ahaha! but its exactly what I
did for my New Years eve nails! If you dont know already,
I absolutely ADOREEEEEEE glitter, glitter anything
it could be makeup, candles, jewlery, ESP nailpolish.
I swear im like a bird, I see glitter or sparkly things & Im
just like ooooooooooo shineeeeeeeeeeeyyyyyyyy! & am
immediately distracted. Hense why my blog name is
Polish & Diamonds, because I love diamonds because they
are sparklyyy. ANYWAYYYYYYYY
For NYE, I didnt do anything I worked & then stayed home
all night, im not really into new years which is weird,
because I drink at every possible opportunity
that I can get, except new years, im weird I know.
I have been wearing alot of black polish because I think
it looks the best under glitter. So I kept with my week
of black nails & threw a tonnnnnnn of glitter polish on my nails.
I did OPIs Black Onyx, with Color Clubs take the stage & orna-mented
sponged on the tips. Let me just tell you first CC take the stage
HOLEY MOLEY, it is the most gorgeous glitter, it has smallll
little baby gold glitters & then larger random sized chunks of
multi colored gorgeousness glitterness. It legit looks like pieces
of diamonds in this polish, I was SO blown away when I put it on.
ahaha okay enough of me going on about how much I love glitter,
I assume you all understand. PS, its pretty picture heavy :D

I blew up the pictures as big as I could so you dont have
to miss out on this mani & all its glory. but
HOLEY BALLLLLLSSSSS
Isnt that the most BEAUTIFULLLLL mani you have seen!
Gah, I was soooo upset that I had to take it off.
I need like 8 backups of Color Clubs Take the stage.

Day 1-Red Nails

Hey Ladies.
So today January 1st 2012, marks the first day of the 31 Day
Challenge! Day one is Red Nails. This post is going to be at a later
time than the ones upcoming because Adri & I decided pretty out
of the blue to start the challenge today ahaha!

Red nails are probably one of the most common mani`s that are done.
I myself am not a hugeeeeeeeeeeee fan of red nails, maybe its because
I just havent found the PERFECT shade of red polish that i love. So if you have
any red nailpolish suggestions for me that I need to try, let me know
I love hearing your girls feedbacks, & I espically love talking about polishes!
haha I am a nailpolish hoarder, so im definately open to suggestions!
I kept it pretty simple for my red nails today.
I used 3 coats of OPI`s Big Apple Red.
I think that big apple red, is probably the most true shade
of red polish that I have in my collection, others are tooo
dark, not dark enough, or have shimmer.

31 Day Challenge!!

Hey Ladies!
Happy New Year =)
I have been wanting to do this challenge for a while now
so I decided what better way to kick off the new year
then to start the 31 day challenge.

My friend Adri from twitter said she would do the challenge with me.
So therefore I cannot miss ANY days because she is counting on me ahah
This is going to be a hugeeeee starting point for me to get my blog moving
it will also get me to open up me imagination,  as well as try some of the un-used
polishes in my collection =)
